How to get a Will
Here is a quick guide on how to get a Will in the UK to suit your circumstances. Our advice is aimed at people from England and Wales.
In an ideal world, everyone would get a Will with full professional advice (it isn’t as expensive as you think!) but here are some lower cost options:
1) How to get a Will UK – Free Very Simple Wills
Single parents and those with very simple needs may get a UK Will through our Free Last Will Form site if they don’t want our professional advice (advice is always recommended – there are all sorts of pitfall which may not come out with a full discussion). We know it won’t fit everyone’s requirements, but the booklet does make useful reading even if you decide to go for one of the better options. Don’t take up this option if you are evens lightly complicated for example, living together, own a business, separated or divorced, have children from different relationships, have “difficult” relatives etc etc.

2) How to get a Will UK – straightforward Wills
If you prefer to fill in forms to get a UK Will on paper, we have a downloadable Will form with guidance notes. Fill in the form, post it back to us with the modest fee and any queries and we will either produce and send you your Will, or give you a ring to make sure that the Easy Last Will service will actually does cover your needs. 3) How to get a Will UK – Online Wills

When you get a Will which is designed for your individual circumstance, (at least through us) you will learn a little about each of the options which may be relevant to you. For example:
- Protective Trusts – do you want your children/ grandchildren or the Council to inherit?
- Disabled child trusts.
- Trusts to prevent children’s partners from divorcing your children/ grandchildren and making off with half of their inheritance!
